Excellent museum with a wide range of aircraft & helicopters over last 100 years. Including 1st & 2nd World War, and cold War aircraft, plus number of prototypes. Within various hangers plus a few static aircraft outdoors. Also a number of various missiles; tanks and aircraft engines. Entry is free but you pay for car park. Play areas for children, outdoor picnic areas and an indoor cafe are available.

Not much left in most hangers to look at. Used to be an amazing place. Ps saying it's free and charging over 7 pounds to park is a little cheeky. Sorry but won't be back anymore.

It's an amazing museum and day out. Also, disabilty friendly wheelchair accessible and noise cancelling headphones, everything has been thought out brilliantly. Lots to see and do. Booking online is free and reasonable priced carpark. If you are a fan of aviation or have to plan a trip out for one, then this is a perfect place. Old and young will enjoy it. Its worth a trip out and refreshments available. Staff and volunteers are helpful.

Fantastic air force museum in the West Midlands. The collection of the aircrafts is huge and all the display items are in good condition. Worth the visit with your children. They do have an annual air show in June/July, this airshow is highly recommended.

I'm blown away. I wish I didn't take so many videos and pictures and just spent the time being lost in the moments that these vehicles of combat must have experienced. Going back on 8th June for the Airshow. I hope my shots do some justice to this incredible place.

Free entry we booked online, 2 gift shops, lots to look at ,planes , bombs, helicopters fire engines ,cars and tanks Lots of facts to read and listen too , clothes and hats to try on .Penny printer for 1.20 on card. Food was nice mainly sandwiches ,pizza , kids meals and dessert bit over priced (we had pizza 1 kids meal and hot chocolate £21.95) Lots of walking for young children. Was very visualy stimulating for my autistic son kept him occupied all day. £7.50 parking for all day (only one option payment) , planes indoor and outdoor. Staff very nice and welcoming asking questions wasn't uncomfortable, friendly all round , also at front desk is wheelchairs , mobility scooters and noise cancelling head phones to use whilst visiting. Fantastic museum, lots to see. Real shame some of the pioneering experimental aircraft have been dumped outside and away from public accessibility.

A fantastic day out. Went with my father in law not knowing what to expect. Parking is £7:50 but the museum is free! All staff were friendly and I was blown away how many planes they have! 3 massive hangers plus some outside. Unfortunately we never had an opportunity to go inside any, but considering it's free, we were more than happy. We also had food at the cafe, which was also good :)

We had a fabulous visit to the museum and it’s a wonderful and free resource. There is a large car park, which you pay for but after tgat the museum is free. There were lots of kids in the adventure playground as we walked in and we spent a couple of hours going through each of the hangers. The exhibits are well laid out with plenty of space and a good amount of information, both about the exhibit and the wider context. We had lunch in the cafe before leaving which was the only disappointment, we just had sandwiches but saw other people with hot food so maybe a menu board would help 🙂
